Well, here we are! The final week of our “What the Hell is That?” contest! It certainly doesn’t look like things are going to get any easier for our beloved vampire Bill, does it? Have a look at next week’s preview clip, and then come on back and tell us what you think is going on with Bill in this photo. Next week’s episode is titled, “Save Yourself.”

Here’s how it goes: We’ll post a screen cap of Bill Compton from an upcoming season five episode every week. All you have to do is tell us what you think is happening in the screen cap. At the end of the season the person with the most correct theories will have their choice of a True Blood S4 Blu-Ray Set which includes a bonus disc from last year’s PaleyFest or a True Blood Bill Compton Bust; second place will win a True Blood Heat Sensitive Mug. Check out the prizes.
What are the rules? There’s only one, let’s keep it on the clean side. Easy Peasy! I do have one helpful hint; include as much detail in your speculation as possible and make sure you write it in the comment section. Example: “Bill’s mad and he’s gonna bite someone,” ain’t gonna cut it. Use your imagination. Don’t forget HBO has a a tendency to mislead with their teasers.
Everybody seemed to have a difficult time with last week’s caption as well, but the person who came closest was Moonlight, who did correctly guess that Bill would refuse to drink at first. Here is Moonlight’s theory from last week:
Bill is still contemplating on what the hell just happened with Russel just now in regards how Sookie and Jason will be kept safe. Then he hear a strange female voice in which he thinks he is losing it because he has not drunk any blood but sees Lilith from an aftereffect. Lilith goes to him saying he is the true chosen one not Salome who should be the keeper of her blood and tells him to drink since he is given a high honor from a god. Bill refuses at first because he thinks this is impossible or may be going mad but Lilith assures him it isn’t a trick and transform into something soothing for him which then gives the remainder of her blood left.
Bill’s about to stake a bitch named Salome because he is sick of her too. Is that to basic of an explanation? Either way I hope that is exactly what happens here.
It kinda looks like he is about to do some mean karoke though.

I TOLD YA HE WAS WORRING ABOUT SOOKIE…HOPEFULLY ERIC WOULD STOP HIM IN TIME …SEEMS LIKE ERIC DOESNT WANT TO LOOSE TOUCH WITH BILL…AS FAR AS SAM,JESSICA,LUNA,EMMA,PAM…BILL WONT LET NOTHING HAPPEN TO THEM….NO WAY!JUST WAIT TILL HE SEES SOOKIE!

Bill has decided that all of the Authority need to be disposed of. He’s going to take out Rosalyn and Salome.

Bill is getting ready to make an attempt to save everyone by staking a biotch named Lilith. So no more if the ” praise lilith” in the future. His baby vamp Jess will be saved along with Eric and Pam and the rest of the group and the “nest” can continue to tear itself apart.

Having just been visited by Lilith again, Bill is grabbing a stake and is going to go stake Salome. Good riddance! Hope we’ll get the real Bill back then!

As Bill holds the stake, he is remembering times with Sookie and perhaps even wondering if I might just be easier to stake himself.
He’s been totally stripped of his humanity by Lilith and company and he can’t decide who on the council deserves the true death first. Salome is the logical choice, but him staking one of the others first, might give him a tactical advantage in the big picture. (re: Season Six) Besides, Salome is so much older than Bill it would take some devious and serious planning to be able to kill her. Age-wise she’s strong and lightning fast like Russel is. She’d take the stake from Bill before he finished raising it!
While Bill ripped off the other chancellor’s head (I can’t remember his name for the life of me! Agh!) he’s contemplating just how far he’s come and what he’s done to be “The Chosen One” and is he realizing that Lilith is not what she seems and his only way out is to kill them all, maybe even himself in the process.
This is a total shot in the dark (pun intended) as I am a spoiler free fanatic, so I’ve seen nothing but the picture above, but I’d say Bill is only too aware that holding that sacred stake in his hands and whatever he does with it will change the world forever.
Hope that this contains enough correct information to grab one last bite at winning the, “What the Hell is that?” for Season Five!
