A new week means a new screen cap for our “What The Hell Is That?” contest. Even though we’re up to episode 8, this is still anybody’s contest to win. We should be getting lots of theories for this week’s screen cap, considering that it is from a scene directed by Stephen Moyer! How exciting is that? The title of next week’s episode is “Somebody That I Used to Know.”
Here’s how it goes: We’ll post a screen cap of Bill Compton from an upcoming season five episode every week. All you have to do is tell us what you think is happening in the screen cap. At the end of the season the person with the most correct theories will have their choice of a True Blood S4 Blu-Ray Set which includes a bonus disc from last years PaleyFest or a True Blood Bill Compton Bust; second place will win a True Blood Heat Sensitive Mug. Check out the prizes.
What are the rules? There’s only one, let’s keep it on the clean side. Easy Peasy! I do have one helpful hint; include as much detail in your speculation as possible and make sure you write it in the comment section. Example: “Bill’s mad and he’s gonna bite someone,” ain’t gonna cut it. Use your imagination. Don’t forget HBO has a a tendency to mislead with their teasers.
The winner of last week’s episode is wickedlywonderful, who correctly concluded that Bill’s palace guards had their guns aimed at Jason. Though not completely accurate, ww had the closest to correct theory of what was happening in the scene. As we said earlier, this contest is still open for anyone to take down, so get your guesses in for next week! Here is wickedlywonderful’s theory for last week’s episode:
Palace guards are about to take someone into custody, I’m thinking Jason because he’s getting all crazed about the vampires killing his parents because of Sookie’s band-aid. (I’m sorry but that whole band-aid thing was stupid and gross)
Okay, back to the point. Maybe it wasn’t even Jessica that called in the troops on Jason, but Steve Newlin! He still wants Jason and we know he’s part of the Authority so maybe he’s was given the job as King!
Jess is probably still off doing god knows what, with… whoever!
Yeah… I’m going with Jason on this one.
But I’ve certainly been wrong before! LOL!
Nice going wicked!!!! Gonna have to think on this – I mean we could ALL say hot, fangy, feral Bill and be totally accurate but I’m sure you are looking for a bit more than that – damn.

Bill is being offered a present from Lilith. At first he wants to resist, but his nature kicks in and he goes in for the attack.

I’ve got two theories, but I’ll go with Eric is telling Bill it’s time to leave and get back to the real world and Bill doesn’t want to go. He’s ready to attack Eric as he’s tired of his interfering.

First off… is it just me or do Bill’s fangs seem larger this season?
Okay, Bill is doing some serious posturing, possibly because in trying to get the other vamps (or just Eric and his stupid sister)back on the straight and narrow, they’re giving him attitude.
But considering the fact that the episode ended with Sookie trying to rid herself of all her Fae juice, someone as just mentioned the Precious Fairy Vagina and Bill doesn’t like it.
Seeing as the set up might be that the vamps are looking for an “After dinner drink and dessert in one!” Even though Bill doesn’t know that The Sookster can’t fend for herself anymore, he’s still letting the others know it’s not an option.
So my short answer, Mr. Green in the Library wi… oh wait! Different game.
Bill is trying to get Eric, Nora Russel and company to get their shit together and fight off the ‘bad’ affects of Lilith as he’s likely the first one to realize that following Lilith is not a good thing and get them to leave Sookie alone in the process.
Or not.

It’s the night after the vampire “trip”. Eric tries to get Bill out of the fold but Bill has become totally hooked on the whole Lilith thing, tells Eric he is evolving. He is now in the same room – maybe Salome’s bedroom – where he and Eric were confronted by RE, Salome and Nora last episode. He is being enticed by Salome to continue going down the path of feeding and letting his true nature come thru. He bares his fangs and goes in to feed. It could be misleading but the woman on the bed looks like Lilith, is Bill going to feed on her and get even more crazy?
