A new True Blood preview means a new screen cap for our “What The Hell Is That?” contest. The race is a close one, but it’s still a contest that anyone can take down. Have a look at next week’s pic, and give your best guess for what is going on with Bill in this scene. If you need a little help with your speculation try watching the preview again for next week’s episode. The title is, “Gone, Gone, Gone.”

Here’s how it goes: We’ll post a screen cap of Bill Compton from an upcoming season five episode every week. All you have to do is tell us what you think is happening in the screen cap. At the end of the season the person with the most correct theories will have their choice of a True Blood S4 Blu-Ray Set which includes a bonus disc from last years PaleyFest or a True Blood Bill Compton Bust; second place will win a True Blood Heat Sensitive Mug. What are the rules? There’s only one, let’s keep it on the clean side. Easy Peasy! I do have one helpful hint; include as much detail in your speculation as possible and make sure you write it in the comment section. Example: “Bill’s mad and he’s gonna bite someone,” ain’t gonna cut it. Use your imagination. Don’t forget HBO has a a tendency to mislead with their teasers.
The winning theory for last week’s contest is Shelhill. I guess long and detailed theories don’t always put you ahead, eh?
I think they are in Salome’s bed, so Bill is having a dream of Sookie where they are together having sex and he bites her like he normally would, but I think she’ll either morph into someone else in the dream or he won’t be able to stop drinking and will wake up even more tormented than he already is.

This week.. I think Bill, now in full blown sang mode… aww, he’s got a nice little lilith pin… stupid Salome… anyway.. I digress..
Bill is doing his best to try and convince Eric that he needs to join them in believing, or he is going to meet the true death. Eric at this point is about ready to give up, he would rather die than become a sang… So Bill is standing over him with the nice litle I-stake app ready to push the button… giving Eric one last chance, since a tiny part of real Bill is still in there, and doesn’t want his friend to die.

Bill has obviously been outfitted with the new Authority uniform – modeled after Steve Newlin’s favorite sci-fi series, “Star Trek”
Seriously (sort of) ….. Bill is in the Authority conference room, monitoring the progress of TruBlood factory destruction, when his phone vibrates. He looks at the screen and sees that Sookie is calling him. Should he answer it?? Should he ignore it? Should he ask Salome what to do? No longer able to think for himself, Bill is stumped.

Bill’s arming an istake on Eric, just to make sure if he does escape Bill can still kill him.
Even though I really like Eric this season, Bill should have killed him long ago, then Bill wouldn’t be where he is.

Wow Bennie. Hadn’t thought of it that way, but if it weren’t for Eric’s F*ckups, they wouldn’t have been brought in by the Authority. And Russell would be dead dead.

I’m gonna guess that Bill has asked the guards to go get Jessica and he just received the word that they have her and they are bringing her back to the Authority.

The guards have placed the I-stake on Eric, and Bill is telling Eric that unless he accepts Lilith he will face the true death, Eric tells Bill that he rather die , so Bill activates the I-stake. But he feels bad about it because Bill and Eric have trully become friends, and also because Bill has a plan, in the eyes of Eric, Bill is betraying him again.
