The Emerys Touch Down in London

Steve, Anna, and Lilac landed at Heathrow Airport earlier today. Steve mentioned back in May that he was hopeful to be in London for the Olympic festivities (opening ceremony is July 27th) and it looks like his wish is coming true.  Does that mean “Spitfire” is under way as well?

    2. Glad to see they’ve made it home. Hopefully, they get a chance to relax some, though I know Steve mentioned about starting on “Spitfire”.

    5. “Spitfire” doesn’t ring a bell for me…movie, TV series? What’s his role?

    7. For those who asked about spitfire. Here ya go. (from SM site)

With the big six Hollywood studios making fewer pics and focusing more and more on tentpole franchises, the independent sector has a clear-cut opportunity to expand.

And as buyers and sellers gear up for the Cannes Film Festival, it’s clear that stars have become a key currency in that expansion.

      Lightning Entertainment’s Audrey Delaney agrees.

“Actors really are the tipping points in any package,” she says.

Lightning has packaged Stephen Moyer (“True Blood”) into “Spitfire,” a crime actioner to be shot during his summer hiatus. “Stephen has a real fan base so we know this can sell,” she adds.

    8. Info on “Spitfire”: http://www.stephen-moyer.net/news/stephen-moyer-talks-babies-and-vampire-spray-tanning

You and Anna have a production company called Scamp. What are you working on?

“We’re putting a film together which will hopefully shoot in London later this year. It’s called Spitfire. I’ll be starring in it. It’s a Pulp Fiction-esque story about assassins.”

Are you going to miss the Olympics?

“Hope not. True Blood season five finishes shooting next month and I’m desperately trying to get Spitfire together in time so that I’ll have an excuse to be over in London in late July. I’m hoping the stars align because I desperately want to be there when it’s all happening.”

    11. I remember that tidbit on Spitfire that you posted back in May (thanks ladies for reposting), and that it is to be “Pulpfictionesque” which got me excited because Im a fan of the “Pulp”.

Well then I hope the trip home is 2 fold. Much needed downtime for all and then its back to work for Stephen.
Sorry honey but we need you on that big screen.

And is it just me or does Stephen look like he’s all of 25 in that pic?
      Yummy!

    14. I think Stephen looks younger with shorter hair and off his forehead…also without the paleness he must maintain for TB.
Hope Sptifire happens and makes it to the Big Screen. Also hope they get to enjoy the Olympics…when the Olympics were here in my city, it was a blast…
