The Best of Stephen Moyer: The Interviews

I'll drink to that!

As we promised last week
, every Monday morning we’ll be bringing back one of Stephen Moyer’s past interviews. There are so many to choose from, so each week you can expect something different. Who knows, we may even post an interview that some of you have never seen before! Be sure to come back on Wednesday to check out Simply Moyer Spotlights the Fan and Friday to see Stephen Moyer’s Career in Video!

Today, we’re going all the way back to 1997, when Steve was interviewed on the set of Prince Valiant. Watch a boyish looking Steve as he talks about being covered with 7 tubs of Nivea cream and having a plaster cast made of his body, “which is, it’s rather sexy, really”. Oh, no doubt…..

    1. So cute! I want to take him home! A plaster cast of his body, eh? Hmmmm!

    2. How sweet is he? Just adorable!

… “that stuff they use to make teeth”. LOL Seems to be a difficulty for him, naming that “stuff”, as he does/says something similar years later talking about his fangs for TB.

    4. Can I cover him in 7 tubs of Nivea cream please!!
Are you listening Stephen? If you ever need to have that done again or just like the way it feels….
      I volunteer my services. :)

Well we can see that Stephen has been giving entertainingly fun and witty interviews since forever. LOL
      What an adoreable man.
Prince Valiant was a cute film. Lots of big names in it with him. K. Heigle, Ron Perlman, Warwick Davis…..

Thank you for the great visit from our resident PRINCE!!

He will always be a prince to me.

    8. Of this I am sure, I’ll never be able to watch a Nivea commercial again without the image of slathering it on Stephen and then playing with plaster to make a cast of… hmmm… what could we make a cast of? ;)

OMG! He’s such a puppy! I’m with SNA, he probably had baby nurses fighting over who got to hold him from the moment he was born! :D

    9. Ok, I see we’re all stuck on Nivea cream, LOL.

Really though this was a fun movie. Fantasy, drama and campy humor. Stephen always finds a way to be funny. I think he just loves to make everyone laugh.

Although, I have to admit, I was practically moved to tears by Val’s speech in the end when he thought he lost his love.

Me thinks me heard a bit of his Shakesperean training there. ;)

What I wouldnt have done to have seen him play Romeo. The man was born for the part.
      Sigh

    10. It is kind of hard to get past the Nivea cream! He’s such a baby in this interview, but he’s only gotten better with age! Love how funny and enthusiastic he is.
