What's so damned funny, Kelly?
For most people, Mondays are the toughest day of the week. So we at Simply Moyer HQ put our brains together to try to come up with a way to make our Mondays a bit brighter and concluded, what better way to start off the week than bringing back a little bit of Stephen Moyer nostalgia. On Monday mornings, we’ll be revisiting a different interview that Steve’s done in the past, so we can all take a trip down memory lane together. Considering that Steve’s never done a bad interview, there are lots of clips to choose from! We’ve also got something planned for Wednesdays and Fridays, but you’ll have to come back to see what that’s all about!
When deciding which interview from Steve’s past should be featured first, the answer seemed obvious; how about the first live interview he did for American television? Although it aired at a later date, Steve’s first “live” interview was with Regis and Kelly, so that’s where we’ll start. Even though this was his first talk show appearance, he seems like such a natural in front of the camera, especially when he slides in and out of his “Bill Compton” Southern accent. So sit back and watch Steve as he charms the socks off of Regis and Kelly, as well as the audience!
This is one of my favourite interviews. I remember looking forward to it airing for what seemed like forever. And needless to say, Steve didn’t disappoint.

He was so sweet and shy in this, his first American interview. Ive seen it many times and still enjoy it every time.

This is a wonderful idea Ladies. I wonder which interview clip you will give us next? There are so many to choose from and Stephen rocks them all.

He really is a natural in interviews. I think they waited about 3 months to finally air this interview, but it was definitely worth the wait!

What a treat it is to see this interview again, and Steve just oozes charm from every pore, doesn’t he? Love, love. love him to bits. Kelly is a huge fan, and I can’t blame the woman…

I haven’t seen this one in a long time and what a treat it was to see it again. He is so natural and so charming, it is no wonder that he was invited back on one of the last episodes of Regis and Kelly. I absolutely adore this man and am so proud to be one of his many fans.
Thanks so much for this delightful blast from the past.

? why is there no new news on anna and stephen and he and she are never on the true blood web pages lately it is always aleander and joe does this mean stephen moyer is getting disallusioned with his role on true blood loved him in the starter wife and now his gal in that series debra messing is in a new tv show smash thought they were great together this has notning to do with the above but I can see changes in true blood

Hi Dolores! I think Anna and Steve are prolly just lying low, working and living. They tend not to go to awards unless they’ve been nominated or are presenting. But, I agree with you, too much info on the TB sites on actors I don’t necessarily care about, but I’m sure someone does.
