For those of you who haven’t read the October 2008 TV Guide interview that we posted on Monday, be sure to do so. It’s a good one. In the article, Kate Hahn mentions watching Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin film a kissing scene. At the end of the scene, they break into laughter. We’re quite certain she was referencing the scene in S1E12 when Bill returns to Sookie when she thought he had perished from his walk in the sun. This is definitely one of the greatest scenes from True Blood, directed by Alan Ball. Ah, memories……
This scene is arguably the best kiss on screen that I have ever seen. I have a gif of it somewhere and have re-played it dozens of times. Guess you can tell that I am kinda partial to it, can’t you? Just call me sentimental, I don’t care.

no matter how hard the Eric fans try to justify it, the Eric/Sookie romance was cold, and this video with Bill and Sookie just reinforces what we all know to be true, those two are soul mates and their chemistry cannot and will not be denied.
And this was when those two actors were falling in love in real life along with their characters. I just can’t think of anything more romantic then that, sigh

This is one of my favourite Bill and Sookie scenes … along with many others. Like C4B, I’ve watched it many, many times.

This is such a beautiful scene and Sookie and Bill have so much chemistry which I really miss. Please bring back the magic of season 1 !

The chemistry between these two is undeniable and this scene is one of the very best examples Eric and Sookie scenes don’t even come close. I’m sure this is the scene that the interview was refering to, if you watch it closely you can see Steve start to laugh as he touches The ‘bruises’ on Anna’s face.

I agree with everyone here!
This was such a poignant scene and so beautifully BEAUTIFULLY done.
Nothing compares to the chemistry of these two lovers.
Stephen was perfection.
His anguish that he had to feen and that he could not reach her in time. Then the way he gently touches her bruised face and the sweet kissess he bestows on her.
Sigh.
Then the kiss is deepened by the both of them.
Sigh.
I hope the show will once again revisit this incredible intensity.
I think it so cute that they are so into it, then start laughing.
Ive also read in a previous Stephen interview that after a kissing scene between him and Anna, and the director yells “CUT”,
These two just keep kissing……

Not sure if I could ever come up with a favorite Bill and Sookie scene, because there are so many great scenes between them, but this scene sure would be up there as one of the greatest. What palpable chemistry!

I loved this scene so much! There were so many between them, and it is hard to find ‘the best one’ as they all were fantastic and showed their chemistry together! It is Bill and Sookie all the way!
