Stephen Moyer’s acting career has spanned the course of over two decades. Thanks to video sharing sites such as You Tube, Metacafe, and Hulu, not to mention fans taking the time to upload and share these wonderful videos, many of Steve’s television and movie performances are now available to view online. With all these videos available for viewing, we figured we’d highlight a different clip each Friday. That’s right! On Friday mornings, we’re gonna pick a different video clip from one of Steve’s projects. And we’ve got lots to choose from. Check in each week to see which television show or movie clip of Steve’s is highlighted, and be prepared to be wowed by his versatility and sheer talent.
Since so many of us discovered Stephen Moyer via his breakout role as Bill Compton on “True Blood”, what better place to start than the moment that we were introduced to Bill? We don’t know about you, but our Sunday nights haven’t been the same since Bill Compton stepped foot into Merlotte’s, sat down in that booth, and met eyes with one Sookie Stackhouse. Enjoy the Henley and the smolder; oh, and don’t forget to breathe!!!

Stephens career has been and continues to be extensive, full of wonderful movies and television. He is talented, handsome, humble, witty and with a sparkling personality to make everyone feel right at home in his presence.
He IS the perfect package.
So bring on the Bill and Stephen videos ladies. I will love to see them all again and again.

Thanks ladies! I never get tired of watching Bill walk into my Sunday evenings. Besides the inital introduction with the “look” my favorite part is when he says “Bill”. I don’t know why but it makes me laugh. Bill turning on the charm in a henley & sideburns what more can we ask for?

He took my breath on September 7, 2008 when he walked into Merlotte’s in episode 1. He still takes my breath away today. I’ve have never been so happy to be breathless…

You know some of the most beautiful music Ive ever heard in a score is the love theme for Bill and Sookie. It is haunting and lovely melody.
When Bill visited Merlottes the 2nd time and Sookie could FEEL him, and they both realized their connection without even benefit of a blood exchange, she started walking to him like she was walking down the isle to the man of her dreams.
The music in that scene is called, “Bills Entrance” and is so beautiful I feel the ache in my heart every time I hear it (which is often since I have the S1 score).
for those that have never really listened carefully, the melody starts off in two separate parts, Sookie the lighthearted piano and Bill the soulful strings. Slowly the sounds come together until are then perfectly in sync.
Nathan Barr has captured the heart of True Blood in his music for Bill and Sookie as their love story has captured our own hearts.

Oh thank you so much. This is my favorite “version” of Bill. I also love his look with the henley and sideburns and the way he says “Bill” is wonderful. Can’t wait for more Stephen videos. This was a stressful Friday but you definitely relieved it for me.

Bill/Stephen glamoured me from the first visit in Merlottes on, and still breathless when i see the very first scenes with Sookie and Bill. What makes this man so special? I think it’s a priceless combination – his eyes, his voice and i looooove his nose!!!!

TB premiered the week of my birthday, and I don’t think I could have asked for a better present than watching Bill step foot into Merlotte’s. What’s come after (discovering Stephen’s work, the fandoms, friendships, etc.) has just been icing on the cake. Season One will probably always be the magical season for me, and these scenes between Bill and Sookie epitomize why that is so.

Thanks for the “first contact” scenes between Bill and Sookie and with most of us fans myself included in the first episode Bill/Stephen sucked the air out of my room too…. I can watch S1E1 over and over again and I do.
