Stephen Moyer Completes 22 Pushup Challenge

All good things must come to an end, and today Steve completed day 22 of the 22 Pushup Challenge. While there’s no doubt that Steve must be relieved to have completed the challenge and no longer have to do his daily round of pushups, his fans will be bummed to not get our daily doses of him, at least … until the next challenge! As promised, Steve brought out the crew from Safe House to help him complete his task. And for his last day, he called out his mate, Denis O’Hare.

Honor Courage Commitment, Inc. started the movement back in 2013 after learning the staggering statistics that on the average 22 veterans are killed by suicide daily in the United States. Mental health issues lead to these suicides and stem primarily from conditions such as PTS (Post Traumatic Stress) and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), and struggles of transitioning out of the military.

The solution is veteran empowerment. One of the biggest challenges veterans face is finding a sense of purpose after service. #22KILL directly supports veteran empowerment programs that help veterans maximize their talents and understand their value outside of the military.

  1. Wonderful final, a group effort of 22 push-ups from the crew of Safe House. I love it.

Thank you Steve for adding cinematic brilliance to your daily challenges and a most lovable sloth (wink wink) by with you’ve added awareness to the alarming problem of daily veteran suicides.

  2. 22 days of Stephen honoring his commitment with great elan. I would not have expected anything less from this amazing man. Bravo to Stephen for all the good you do (with style and wit) What can I say..I just love Mr Moyer!

  4. Stephen Moyer’s 22daypushupchallenge was so delightful to watch, I will surely miss it.
I’ve been following and cheering on Jason Watkins and Andrew Tiernan on their endeavors. Steve nominated them, and they’re doing it faithfully, and posting on twitter. Jason even had his kids take part…adorable!

Stephen’s last day of the challenge was great fun! I think it was my favorite along with the lovely sloth on his back!
