It’s about damn time! Anchor Bay Entertainment will release The Barrens on DVD and in a Blu-Ray combo pack on October 9th … just in time to get revved up for Halloween. Even better, at least for some of you out there, the movie will also hit theatres through a combination of limited release and additional big-screen showings based on fan demand via a partnership with Tugg.
The discs will present the movie in 16×9-enhanced 1.78:1 widescreen, with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound on the DVD and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound on the Blu-ray; extra features include commentary by Bousman and cinematographer Joseph White and a deleted scene. Retail prices are $26.98 for the DVD and $29.99 for the combo pack or you can pre-order at amazon.com for $24.99.
For more information on how you can get The Barrens released at a theatre near you, visit tugg.com. And don’t forget to “Like” The Barrens Facebook page after you order your DVD/Blu-Ray copy of the movie.

In time for Halloween and also in time to scratch the itch we’ll no doubt be feeling by then for a little bit of Stephen.

excellent news, I hope the movie will be showing somewhere close to me. We will all be going thru Bill withdrawal, so this is a nice event to look forward to.
And of course there are the other movies that Stephen is appearing in that will be coming up during the hiatus.

Made my day!
I will keep fingers crossed for a release near me.
If not, no worries, the DVD will make me happy and be a welcome addition to my SM movie/tv collection.
Thanks for the update ladies.
