Publicity Stills From True Blood Episode 5.08

HBO has released official photos from the Stephen Moyer directed episode, “Somebody That I Used to Know.”  The two photos of Steve directing have made the rounds before, as they were featured in magazine articles about the episode.  But it’s nice to see these photos untouched!  HBO also released a few images from Sunday night’s episode.

    1. I am seriously anxious for this episode. I am thrilled that Steve got to take a turn at directing, but I am also anxious to see what ‘difficult’ thing Sam Trammell has been asked to do. It was a frequent reference at Comic Con.
As a side note knowing that I am probably in the minority, but I rather like the business with the fairies this season. Didn’t care for it at all last season, but this is a bit more interesting.

    2. Tabby, I enjoyed Sookie’s scenes with Claude. I didn’t really care for the lengthy scene in the fae nightclub, though. With only twelve episodes and so many storylines going on, I’m not a fan of what I view as filler. But I’ve been intrigued with Sookie’s contemplating giving up her Fae gifts. It’ll be interesting to see if the Fae become incorporated in the vamp human war that is coming up. They probably will.

I’m curious to see what will be happening with Sam Trammell in this episode, as they have spoken about it quite a bit. I suspect the sex scene that they’ve mentioned will involve Alcide and Riki.

    3. To clarify, the lengthy scene in the Fae nightclub was when Jason and Andy went the first time, and they had that lengthy dance scene. It was pretty, but didn’t add to the story.

    4. I like the Fairies too. I am also anxious to see Sam and Luna be well and happy together. He deserves it! I want to see Claude turn out to be good! and help Sookie and Jason. I am also looking forward to Stephen’s directorial debut! plus his flashback when he wears those clothes, HOT!

    5. I have high hopes that this will be a standout episode this season.

Heres wishing Stephen all the best in his directorial debut.
