You know the new season of True Blood is in production when Amazon makes the previous season available for pre-order. You can relive Season 5 and most importantly, Bill Compton, by pre-ordering now. The DVD/Blu-Ray is available for delivery on the release date and Amazon guarantees a price decrease between your order time and the end of the day of the release date if the price decreases … and it always does.
Of course, you can always hold out and hope Target will release special editions of the DVD/Blu-Ray with this cover:

Is it too much to ask that SM does commentary on 2 episodes??? Since I’m guessing he’ll do the commentary on the episode he directed… it would also be cool to have a more acting based commentary from a different episode… especially given Bill’s crazy arc this season…
And really, his commentaries are my favorite part of the DVDs

I can’t for the life of me understand why every episode does not have a commentary???
I have been wondering this since the first season, and I would love to have an out-take DVD with bloopers, once the series wraps up (which I hope will not be for a while, of course).
Yes, I agree that SM would be perfect to provide commentary on more than one episode, maybe the one he directed, and the last one? Both covers look great, Anna is a very beautiful woman, and of course Steve is gorgeous!

It would be really neat if they had AP, SM and AB do the commentary for the final episode, since it’s AB’s last episode…
