To help us with our wait until Sunday, HBO has released these two separate clips from episode 502: Authority Always Wins. Looks like Bill, Eric, and Nora got some explaining to do. And could someone please tell me what these guys use in their hair? After being netted in silver, thrown in a car trunk, going through an explosion, and a second captivity, and their hair looks fucking amazing! The second clip features the new baby vamp in town wreaking havoc in Sookie’s er, Eric’s kitchen. Too bad Sookie can’t rescind the invitation…
Why does Eric look as if he either knows of this place or has been here before?

Not sure if Eric has ever been here, but it seems that he knows what’s going on. Wonder who that portrait is that Bill is looking at. At first I thought Roman, but it doesn’t look like Chris Meloni.

Both Eric and Bill are handcuffed as they leave the Authority lobby. As the enter the cell block Eric is handcuffed at the front of the process, but Bill is way in the back and relatively unescorted. Eric is handcuffed as they put him into a cell, but Bill is not. Both men are ushered into their cells, but Nora is shoved into hers. Bill seems to be getting slightly better treatment. Hmmm…
Something tells me that Bill has his own inside track with the Authority.

I don’t know if either has been there before but (and this may be my biased here) but the camera seems to be focused more on Bill in this clip and his reaction to taking it all in.
And could that picture be the very first vampire? Didn’t they show a clip of Roman drinking from a special vial of the first vampire or something like that.

Tabby, I honestly think the handcuffs are something to do with editing. When they are walking towards the cells, it looks like Nora is handcuffed and Bill seems to be walking behind but handcuffed. Suddenly, both Bill and Nora are without handcuffs. Bill looks rather concerned when they’re first entering the area, whereas Eric doesn’t seem bothered at all. Might just be how the two handle stress in different manners. Or Eric is already planning on using his Russell’s alive trump card.

In some interview… perhaps the inside the episode for ep 50 that accidently got posted early on HBO, Alan Ball or one of the directors commented that the painting was of Roman.

Very nice of HBO to give us a treat.
I thought that was an old painting of Roman that Bill was looking at.
Nora is getting rougher treatment because shes a traitor now. She disobeyed and lied to the authority. The Guardian himself if Im correct.
She did say to the bromancers that if they were ever found it would be the true death for her.
