Two casting calls have been filled and two minor spoilers for season 6 were shared by Alexander Skarsgard.
“There’s a big war coming up — a big war,” Alexander, 36, told Wetpaint Entertainment this weekend at the Sundance Film Festival.
“Bill will be back, yes,” Alexander confirmed, though he couldn’t give any specifics.
Along with Bill and Eric, HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site TVLine reports that (at least) two new faces will be arriving in Bon Temps this summer.
Former Friday Night Lights star Jurnee Smollett will play Nicole, who’s concerned with “doing what’s right” more than anything else; and former 90210 actress Amelia Rose Blaire will play Willa, whose father just so happens to be the governor of Louisiana.

Thanks for the spoilers… although I don’t even understand the “will Bill be back” question… do they mean mainstreaming, do what’s right Bill? Which is a silly question to ask at this point when he’s only seen two scripts and wouldn’t tell us anyway… or was this someone who really thought the character of Bill was going to go away?? Cause I have no question about Bill still being on the show… and we know that Bill’s memories and things are still in there… so I don’t get what we got out of asking him that question

I love it, even though Alex was at Sundance for his movie, the big True Blood question was about Bill and not Eric, lol
As we have all said, everyone wants to know about Bill, hardly anything has been asked about Sookie or Eric or anyone else, it’s been almost all about Bill.
shel, I think the person who asked the question just wanted to make sure that Bill would still be a part of True Blood, obviously a Bill fan

I think ‘Bill we be back’, means just that … Bill is back, prolly looking like Billith, at least until he showers.
Then he’s going to be a Bill like we’ve never seen before. So yes, Bill is back!

Which is why it seemed like a weird question to me…
Not that there was really a different question that would have gotten us any more information, since I’m sure any and everything about Bill is going to be kept very quiet until S6 starts…

I agree with aemac, Bill will be back, and I think he will be back stronger, the quotes from Alex about a war coming and talking about Bill and how ‘it’ll be good’ makes me think Bill will be at the center of the whole show again, which I love!!
I read somewhere that some are speculating that Bill could turn out to be the most powerful vampire the world has ever seen, and that would play into the big war coming in S6. I think it sounds rather exciting.
I wonder if the big war is going to involve all of the supes against the humans, because we know the humans are going to declare war on the vamps, and now that Luna has come out of the closet, so to speak, on camera, the world will know that shifters exist.
BTW, I am missing the BWW big time!!

It’s All About Bill! No doubt about it:) Strange…no question was asked about the new ‘Eric Northman’ storyline for Season 6. Hmmm. Still waiting for that one, I guess. haha

Of course Bill will be back! I love it that almost everything we see about TB’s next season seems to have Bill mentioned somewhere
I’m wondering how they’ll fit a big war (as opposed to a little one I suppose) into 10 episodes?
