    1. I hope not. I would hate it if the writers did this to his character, he is the reason I watch True Blood, they can’t turn him into the opposite of what he has always been.

    2. I’m a big fan of Steven’s Bill too. HOWEVER. I think exploring “Bad Bill” in something than flashbacks might be very interesting. Take time, explore him, and how he fights back to himself. Could prove to be very interesting.

    3. At this point, I’m just along for the ride when it comes to Bill. And SM’s been playing him to perfection!

Love that Steve was able to bring out his inner Gene Simmons in this pic! :-)

    4. While I have my apprehensions about “bad Bill”.. I am going to follow his journey wherever it takes us and revel in the incredible way SM gives us this fascinating character.

    6. I will follow Bill to wherever the Writers take him. This “bad Bill” is being written for a purpose – the many facets of Bill is very interesting. Better than the alternative – following Book Bill!

    7. I’m in two minds about this one. Although I would hate to lose the honest, upright Bill we have come to know and love, probably due to some deep seated, psychological flaw, I have to admit that I find this feral, dangerous Bill terribly sexy! I’m sorry – I just can’t help it!

Somehow I don’t think we’re going to get our boy back this season, but I’m sure that next season he’ll come to his senses again. There will be a lot of pain and angst for him which will give Stephen a further opportunity to stretch those acting muscles and show what he can do. In the meantime I’m just going to hold on tight and enjoy the ride!

    8. I had wondered at the EW covers at the beginning of the season…..

Seeing Bill like this, I agree its not the Bill we all knew. But one must consider what has happened to him in the past and continues to happen to him. His storyline is always the most tragic and compelling.

I look forward to Bill eventually coming out of this fervor, and when he does, how he will deal with the aftermath of the events that had transpired because of it.

Im a Bill gal all the way to the end!

    11. @Templar, I’m so with you. We’re probably just terribly perverse. I don’t know if it’s a psychological flaw, but I might just sign up for therapy anyway if we’re bound to be repeating the trauma of the season 3 cliffhanger. Argh. ;)

    12. Hate the pic too! I’m too much of a romantic to want Bill this way, and SM is too handsome to look this way for long!

    14. Hay mela81 sign me up for therapy I think I will it when this season is over it has drove me crazy with emotion. I will have to be honest I hate that picture and I hate where the writers are taking bill. To see him fall into this madness is painful to watch. Poor jesscia my heart goes for her. the man that is her vampire father, the man she loves so much is turning into this heartless monster. Well the only good thing out of this is Stephen acting , beacsue he is rocknig this. Next year he should be up for every major acting award for this season.

Well I better buckle up it looks like it’s going to be a rocky ride for these last two episodes.

    15. I am with Tabby all the way… *shudders*

I’ve been having a hard time adjusting to Feral Bill and can’t stop thinking about the voice-over that’s been done during the promos, the line he said shortly after Sookie saved him from the Ratts, “Vampires often turn on those that love them”

But for some strange reason, I don’t think he says those words to Sookie. I think of Jessica every time I hear them. I think the idea that her, Vampire Dad is beginning to mirror her human dad and I can’t help but see a potential confrontation/disillusionment scene happening at some point. I’m just praying we lose Jess too in the process! :( If she tries to reject his new religious fervor will he be giving Jess the alternative of praising Lilith or wearing an I-stake?

One positive? If you cover up the lower half of that picture, those eyes are fuckin’ awesome!!! LOL! :P

    16. I’m strapped in tighter than a duck’s arse, this is defo gonna be a very bumpy ride. I’ll take Bill anyway I can get him good, bad, crazy, I love him no matter what and I don’t see him changing anytime soon….there’s gonna be one hell of a cliffhanger this season and a long wait till next June to see what happens in season 6.

    17. I typically like the feral Bill look, but I could do without this bloody tongue version. It seems stupid of me to not like the blood because he is a vampire but this bloody version is different from say the screen caps of him from this season while feeding on the lady when Lilith comes to him. Or even the promo pics from previous years of the blood dribbling down his chin.

regardless I know he is hot underneath the all of the blood :)

    18. With everything going on with Bill right now, we figured that this outtake of him looking the most feral would be fitting.

We’ll post one without blood in the coming days, promise! :-)

    19. I think that once Russell brings in Sookie and decides to take and share her blood with the others is when Bill is going to turn back into the Bill that we know and love. He will not allow that to happen, because his love for her is immortal.

    21. Bill is a fantastic character. True blood wouldn’t be True blood without him. Having him go to the bad side could be very sexy in my eyes. Cause ive always seen him so sweet and caring. But SM plays bill great. He was made for the part

    22. When all of the EW covers came out, I wondered why Bill’s was the only vampire one to have blood dripping down his fangs.

Well now we know that was a foreshadowing of what Bill was going to be going thru this season. I was really convinced that Bill was going to come out of his religious fervor by the end of Epi 12, but it looks like AB is changing his MO and not solving the biggest story line in S5 until S6.

And I don’t mind seeing Bill like this, he obviously is going to reach the darkest depths of his vampire life by the end of S5, so we have to prepare ourselves for the worst scenario.

It will be a very long hiatus for Bill fans, and I am keeping the faith. Bill will come out of this even better.

    23. It’s part of a bigger plan he has. It goes too much against the man he has been. Each time he has gone to the edge of the dark side it’s been because it was needed to solve a problem. He’s not gotten where he’s at by waffling, taking the easy way out or surrendering, there is too many and too much he cares about to give up. That is what makes him better than Eric. That is why he is the King.
