If you’re looking for something to do during the long hiatus between seasons, we might just have a solution. Why not give a shout out to Bill Compton? I know what you’re thinking, how the hell do I do that? By visiting True Blood Devoted, that’s how! They’re a group of True Blood Role Players with a fan base of 800 and growing.
The True Blood Devoted role players are creating their own world of True Blood. Bill, Sookie and Eric are of course the main characters in any TB world, but Pam, Jessica and even Quinn have a part in their story lines. Sometimes, deceased characters such as Godric and Lorena or roles that no longer exist, like Hoyt Fortenberry, make a comeback. This coming season, you’ll be introduced to new players including Sookie’s grandfather, Niall.
Not only does TBD give their followers something to follow during the season, they’ll also fulfill your needs off season when the waiting sucks. When we’re hurting for something, anything, to do with Bill Compton and True Blood, the RPer’s offer 2 story lines a month, as well as two character developments. And, since some of the material is on the racey side, TBD requires all you readers to be 18+. Yowza!
But what of Bill Compton? The Role Player for our favourite character was drawn to Bill’s torment just as most of us were. The RPer likes to dig back into Bill’s past and show fans scenarios the True Blood writers didn’t have the time to show or what the fans wished would have happened. What of the shower scene between Sam and Bill? What if the phone hadn’t rung? You can get a taste of Arkansas hardness by visiting True Blood Devoted.
As season 5 ended with Bill becoming Billith, his character on TBD encompasses Bill as he once was in seasons 1-4, including Bill at his most powerful: King Compton of Louisiana. Within a couple of weeks of the season 6 premiere, Bill will revert back to Billith so the group can work along with the story lines of season 6.
Right now there are some open roles available on TBD, so if you have an interest and want more information about joining the group, you can contact them here.

I went to their website and it told me that admins have “Forbidden any new members”. Very disappointed!

TBD is a great community for all fans of this great series. I especially love the lost storylines, like the Bill and Sam shower that we were teased with, but never got to see on the show. Well done, RPers!

If you speak to one of the admins, they can sort it for you. Its due to other people joining and advertising their own true blood groups. But i am sorry to hear you were disappointed.
