Stephen Moyer and his pal Alexander Skarsgård posed for us in the Battle of the Fang T-shirts! Stephen chose the slogan for Alex’s shirt from a list of suggestions from the fans and he made up his own slogan for his shirt.
There really were no losers in this fun and team-spirited battle as Team Bill raised $35,043 for GulfAid and Team Eric raised $34,223 for SOS Children’s Village. The Battle of the Fang total came to $69,266!
Simply Moyer would like to recognize and give special thanks to our fellow Bill’s Wiki’d Women. You guys are all amazing and some of you went way above the call of fandom! Alex, thanks for being such a fun guy, a good sport and you look mighty hot in pink! Thanks to our sister site, True Blood News at the Nest, with whom we worked side-by-side, and it was a lot of hard work, sleepless nights, constant advertising and communication.
Bill’s Belles, you guys ROCK! In addition, a giant thank-you goes out to all the Twitterers and other Web sites who continuously promoted the event. Thanks for all your help!
Special thanks to Simply Moyer’s, NotHoney: Again, we have to say, you were an indispensable crusader for GulfAid and you made the contest fun! Your original posts were informative but you also made them funny in light of a tragedy. You worked relentlessly to achieve our goal and we could not have done this without you.
Anna Paquin – We love you as well and you ROCK!
Last but not least, the incredibly talented and loving Stephen Moyer, who, when asked for a cock sock did not hesitate but handed it over signed by himself and Anna. His love and dedication to his fans is what drives us and keeps us going for him. Steve, we love you!

I knew that had to be the surprise you mentioned on FB, you silly and sweet moderators! I love these shirts. What a hoot! And well worth the wait, too! Love the photos. Steve we adore you! Hmm, does he have any more bitches besides Alex?

Thanks to Steve, Alex and everyone who donated.
I love the way Steve’s mind works. “I love my bitches blonde.” I’d become a blonde for Steve.
These guys are too funny, it was worth the wait to get them in a picture together.

Indeed a great set of pictures to wake up to! (I really need a hobby or something, don’t I?!)
It is sure is wonderful that both men were so willing and clearly happy to be a part of this idea and a HUGE thank you to them, the people that organized it and of course all those that donated.. it was a staggering total sum considering the current economy!
Many blessings to one and all!

One of my favorite quotes:
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead.
I really don’t know how big the Belles, Bills Wiki’d Women or any of the other groups are that supported this cause, but you know that they are all women (and probably some men) who have jobs, families and lives that demand much of their attention. The fact that they would work to raise nearly $70K in support of these two worthy causes spearheaded by two wonderful actors is truly remarkable.
Congratulations and thanks to all who worked so hard to make it happen and to Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard for lending their names and memorabilia to raise the money. You all should be very proud!

Stephen you rock and Alex you are a good sport.
The charities benefitted greatly from our obsession. Kudoes to all who donated.

I remember how we watched the totals as they tipped, first to one, then to the other, during the last days of the contest. I remember contributing once, then again, and again, as I know many people did. It was an exciting time! It is so gratifying that we all gave to such worthy causes, in the names of two wonderful, talented, and caring actors who give us so much pleasure on our favorite show, TrueBlood.
