We found some old photos of Steve from March 15th, 2010 in our private cache that for some reason we never added to our gallery. The pics show Steve helping Lilac on her skateboard and buying magazines, which include a copy of Aperture Magazine, a periodical for the serious photographer. Most important though, check out the diggers!

There’s a world of difference between those two pictures isn’t there?
I can agree with one thing others mentioned that I thought was just pure annoyance… he really does look tired in that picture of the other day.
The second being he looks every bit of his 40-something years! I can see why there has been talk of only one more season because the vampires are obviously aging! (And we won’t even go into the other reasons! LOL!)
I can’t help but worry how the papz will hound him and Anna once the babies make their premier! (I for one think it would be very cool if they were born on his birthday!)
Maybe they’ll do like some other celebs have done and sell exclusive pics of the babes to People or someplace to keep at least some of the papz at bay. Knowing Anna and Stephen, they’d probably donate the money to a worthy cause to boot!
I’ve got to admit… I for one would love to see those beautiful babies someday while at the same time understanding that their babies births and homecoming’s etc. are just like their wedding photos… theirs and theirs alone!
Besides, you guys are so great at protecting the kids to begin with, the only chance we’ll likely have will be on the pages of a magazine sanctioned by the Emery’s!
I know they know what they’re having, (and love that they’re keeping it a secret!) but I wonder what kind of names they’re thinking about… *sigh* if only we could ‘pull a Sam’ and be a fly on the wall!

I agree, Wicked, that there is that desire as a fan to want to see a pic of them with the babies at some point (and really, hot guy with a baby is just soooo cute) but on the other hand, there is also the hope that they will find the privacy they deserve to enjoy their growing family.
Although I actually think this season of TB and with his new haircut at Comic Con, SM has actually looked more youthful, albeit tired! There are some of the promos for this past season where he looks so young… and handsome as always…

Still my favorite look, I miss the diggers!
I think he looked “older” in the London pic posted the other day because the gray scruff was so grown out, its grown out in this old pic just not as long (more like stuble)
If you look at the picture for the posting of “what does the future hold for Bill Compton” he looks younger than either of these.

With or without diggers; with or without stubble; long hair,short hair; tired or rested…is there anyone sexier?
I would love to see the babies…just as I would like to see Billy and Lilac’s faces but I know how I would feel about the paps shooting my underaged children.

Oh no doubt… he is always the sexiest man on the planet but yes, the Comic Con hair was fabulous!
I had to chuckle recently, I read on some blog that the person was hoping the babies would have Stephen’s blue eyes and Anna’s blond hair.
Um… hello?! Did you not see Anna in anything prior to True Blood?
I’m hoping for seriously dark hair and his blue eyes! Those would make for amazingly beautiful babes indeed!
Besides, I’ve always been a sucker for dark hair and blue eyes, throw an English accent in the mix and this quarterback is TOAST! LOL!

I hope we can somehow see them with the newborns without it being too intrusive. If not doesnt matter as long as all are healthy and happy.

I seem to remember Steve saying that he was fairly blond as a child. Lilac is certainly blond and I think Billy is sandy blond. No matter. With the genes of their parents, these will be some gorgeous children.
